The Annual Country Fair in Brea

Take the short trip from Orange to Brea for the Annual Country Fair on July 4. This event starts with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club at 7 a.m., and the Country Fair opens at 9 a.m. The fair features live entertainment, a kiddie parade, a dog parade, a classic car show, food, a marketplace, rides, lots of games, a teen fun area, and exhibits. You can even pay $3 for swimming at the Plunge, which opens at 11 a.m. Admission to the fair is free, but you’ll need to purchase a ticket to go on the rides.

Knott’s Berry Farm 4th of July Fireworks

Knott’s Berry Farm is always worth a trip, but it’s even better on the Fourth of July. You can enjoy all the everyday fun activities at the farm, as well as the daily fireworks display from Sunday, July 2, to Tuesday, July 4. The farm will offer a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day, with the fireworks show in the evening.

Guests of Knotts Berry Farm will see a patriotically decorated farm during their Fourth of July weekend visit, along with special performances and other entertainment to celebrate Independence Day. While at the farm, you can also enjoy all the roller coasters, interactive experiences, carnival games, and Camp Snoopy.

A park admission ticket or season pass with a reservation is required for the Fourth of July celebration. The best places to see the fireworks at the park include the boardwalk and the open area between Charleston Circle and Calico Stage.

Disneyland 4th of July

What better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than at Disneyland Park? Disneyland hosts a Fourth of July celebration every year, and it includes a fantastic fireworks display set to patriotic music. You can see the fireworks from most places in the park, but there are a few places to go if you want the best view. Some of these top locations include:

• On Main Street, U.S.A., between the Main Street Train Station and Central Plaza.
• In front of It’s a Small World.
• In front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.
• Along the Rivers of America in Frontierland.

The best part of spending the Fourth of July at Disneyland is that you can experience all the entertainment, rides, and food during the day and then relax for the fireworks show at night.

Anaheim Hills 4th of July Celebration

The Anaheim Hills 4th of July Celebration will take place on the Fourth of July starting at 7 a.m. with a Firecracker 5k and 10k run. After the run, there’ll be a parade, a dog show, food, live music, and of course, a fireworks show. If you want to start your day with a hearty breakfast, there’ll be a pancake breakfast at Canyon High School, and then the Yankee Doodle Dog Show will take place at 9 a.m. on the softball field.

Make sure you don’t miss the Fourth of July Parade that starts a 1 p.m. at the high school and ends at Eucalyptus Park. Throughout the day, you’ll find entertainment and food booths at Peralta Park, with live music on the main stage and expo booths from local vendors. The fireworks get started at 9 p.m., right at Peralta Park.

July 3 Independence Day Community Celebration

The July 3 Independence Day Community Celebration in Costa Mesa has something for everyone. It will take place at the OC Fairgrounds, and admission to the event is free. It all gets started on July 3 at 5 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m. Make sure to bring lawn chairs if you want to set up a spot for a picnic. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, but you can bring your own if you prefer.

3rd of July Celebration

Right in Orange, California, the city will celebrate the Fourth of July a day early. The celebration gets started at 4 p.m. with family-friendly games, activities, and booths at Grijalva Park on North Prospect Street. You can feast on delicious food from several food trucks that will be at the event, and some local nonprofits will set up booths to sell food and drinks. At 8 p.m., the Patriotic Music Program will start with a performance featuring the Orange Community Master Chorale. When the sun goes down, the fireworks will begin.

Tickets for the event will be available at the Community Services Department on East Chapman Avenue, or you can purchase them on-site the day of the event.

Aliso Viejo 4th of July Community Parade and Celebration

Head to Aliso Viejo and get your 4th of July celebration started with the community parade in the morning, followed by a free festival with games, a giant slide, a rock wall, DJ, and face painting. This event will take place at Grand Park, with fireworks at approximately 9 p.m.
